LINKS TO AFRICAN UNIVERSITIES: please inform us – briefly -- of substantive links you or your department (or unit) currently have with African universities. Let us know the type of activity (research, teaching, faculty/student exchange, etc.), dollar amount of the budget if it is a funded activity, and whether, in your opinion, the particular African universities you’re working with should be considered "candidates" if several African universities were to be selected for a range of collaborative activities involving OSU faculty and students in multiple departments and colleges. The purpose of this request is to begin to prepare our campus for funding opportunities that may become available in the future. For example, NASULGC (National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges) is developing an initiative to raise funds to support collaborative research and teaching involving US and African universities.
